Law enforcement agencies help serve food to community members in Greene County Saturday

XENIA — Law enforcement agencies gathered in Xenia Saturday morning to help serve the people in Greene County food as a way to get to know community members.

Officers and Troopers spent time at One Bistro today serving others.

One Bistro hosted its “Breakfast with Heroes” event aimed at bringing the community and officers closer together during a time when there may be tension.

With that mindset, officers served hot meals to those that came in and were able to walk to community members that they may not normally have come into contact with.

“They serve everyday. They serve the community every day, but to be able to come in and serve the community everyday it helps bridge the gap and let’s the community see them in another light,” said Denise Davis, One Bistro’s Board President.
