Investigation underway after reported drive-by shooting at Drexel Shell

DREXEL — Police are investigating after a drive-by shooting was reported at the Shell gas station in Drexel last night.

Authorities and emergency personnel were dispatched just after 11 p.m. to the store, 6101 W. Third St.

Deputies were unable to locate a shooting victim. Local hospitals were put on alert for anyone who may show up with a gunshot wound, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

No information regarding a suspect or suspect vehicle were released.

Crime tape was put up around the scene as authorities were retrieving shell casings from the ground, according to our crew. We also witnessed two vehicles being towed from the scene.
