UPDATE: 2 drivers injured after crash involving school bus, SUV in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 3:25 p.m.:

Two people, the driver of an SUV and a school bus driver, were injured in a rear-end crash in Harrison Twp. Tuesday morning, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported at the intersection of North Main Street and Turner Road just after 7 a.m.

The SUV crashed into the back of the school bus at the intersection, deputies said in a media release Tuesday afternoon. Both the drivers of the SUV and school bus were taken to area hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash, deputies said.

Additional details about the crash were not released and the incident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
