1 injured when truck slams into small business

UPDATE @ 11:21 p.m.: One person has taken to a hospital after the pickup truck that person was driving slammed into a small business in the 2800 block of Philadelphia Drive.

The condition of that person is not known. Dayton police have offered no comment about the incident.

The Ford F-150 hit the Allurea Salon & Spa just after 10:30 p.m., bashing in its glass front door, and clipped a State Farm Insurance office next door. A wrecker is on scene.

FIRST REPORT

Police and a fire/medic unit are on the scene of a truck that has hit a building in the 2000 block of Philadelphia Drive.

There has been no word on injuries in the accident reported about 10:36 p.m., but we’re hearing the driver is complaining of dizziness.

The vehicle involved is said to be a red pickup truck, along the lines of a Ford F150.

We have a crew on the way and we’ll update this developing report as we get information.
