1 injured in Clark County industrial accident

A man injured in an industrial accident in Clark County has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

Medic crews were dispatched shortly before 10 p.m. to MEVA Formwork Systems, 2000 Airpark Drive, on a report that an indoor crane had fallen on a worker and trapped him.

That man was rescued and taken to the hospital, said Assistant Chief Larry Ridenour, Husted Fire Department. The man’s condition was not immediately known.

A co-worker said the crane was picking up a panel when it fell over.

According to the company’s website, MEVA is an international provider of formwork using concrete and other materials founded in 1970.

The accident is under investigation.
