Hundreds gather for 36th annual Ghost ‘n Goblin 5k in Dayton

The 36th annual Ghost ‘n Goblin 5k returned for an in-person race Tuesday evening.

The race, presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, kicked off at 6:30 p.m. at the Welcome Stadium and ended at Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

This year, it includes a Halloween costume contest, food and drinks, music, and an awards ceremony where trophies and medals were handed out to the winners.

The Dayton Ghost ‘n Goblin 5k will benefit local children’s health and running programs, according to the event’s website.
