Humane Society of Greater Dayton raising money through online silent auction

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is holding a silent auction online to raise money for homeless animals.

The auction is part of the Humane Society’s 30th anniversary of the Pet Afflaire Gala, which will be held at the Dayton Arcade on Nov. 13.

Brain Weltge, President and CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, said nearly 50 items will be available in the auction.

“From some amazing gift baskets to trips and one-of-a-kind experiences, there is something for everyone and we are so happy that we are able to make the auction online so everyone can participate and be part of the fun,” Wetlge said in a release.

Bidding on the auction beings Nov. 6 and will remain open through 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 13. Those interested in bidding can go to the event’s website, create a login and begin bidding.

Attendance at the gala is not required to bid on items.
