Man found dead inside a vehicle in Dayton identified; Homicide detectives investigating

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 2:23 p.m.:

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victim found deceased inside a vehicle in Dayton near West Second Street and North Orchard Avenue Saturday morning.

Jerome Robinson, 32, of Dayton, is the victim who was found at the scene of the incident police are investigating.

Homicide detectives are investigating the death as well.

We are working to learn the cause of Robinson’s death and will update you as we learn more.

INITIAL REPORT:

A man was found dead inside a vehicle in Dayton just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Dispatchers say officers arrived in the area of West Second Street and North Orchard Avenue and began investigating the death.

Homicide detectives were later requested to assist in the investigation as well.
