DAYTON — A group of Dayton community members held a Breast Cancer Walk Saturday morning.
The walk was planned after the coronavirus pandemic cancelled the annual Breast Cancer Walk that typically begins at The Dayton Dragon’s baseball stadium.
Today’s walk began at Dunbar High School, a place where some of the survivors say they went to school.
One cancer survivor shared why she feels it’s important to keep events like this going.
“If you look around, each survivor has family members and friends that support them every step of the way. So every year we all get together," she said.
