Grant helps Miami County implement Kids for Cribs program

MIAMI COUNTY — A grant from the Care Source Foundation is helping the Miami County Health Department implement the National Kids for Cribs program.

A check for $5,000 was presented to the health department Wednesday morning. The program promotes safe sleep for infants by providing parents with safe sleep education.

In Ohio, three babies die in an “unsafe sleep environment” every week, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
