George Floyd protests: Nearly 300 people gathered in Yellow Springs protesting

YELLOW SPRINGS — Protesters gathered in Yellow Springs in response to the death of George Floyd of Minneapolis.

Nearly 300 people gathered, holding signs as they demonstrated.

“To know you have someone backing you up it makes you feel better. And a lot of the time I do feel alone, I feel like I’m trying to make my voice heard by myself. Things like this are important because you know your community’s behind you," protester Armani Wagner said.

Another protest was planned at 3 p.m. Sunday in Springfield at the Clark County Municipal Courthouse.
