XENIA — A fire destroyed a home in Xenia on Friday.

As reported on News Center 7 at 6, around 3:30 p.m., Xenia firefighters were called to the 700 block of Trumbull Street for smoke showing from a home.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a lot of smoke coming from the building, Xenia Fire Division Chief Mike Bogan said.
Conditions in the home quickly worsened, and firefighters were forced to fight the fire from the outside, Bogan said.
Bogan said the home was split into two apartments, and three people were inside at the time of the fire.
All were able to escape without injuries.
It is considered a total loss.
Information about the cause of the fire was not immediately available.
