Pedestrian struck, killed on I-70 in Clark County ID’d

SOUTH VIENNA — UPDATE @ 4:15 p.m.

A pedestrian struck and killed on eastbound Interstate 70 was identified as 51-year-old Bradley S. Liebling of Columbus by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post.

Liebling was found around 5:10 a.m. on the berm near the 66 mile post.

The vehicle involved has not been found and the patrol has no description. Anyone with information is urged to call the patrol, 937-323-9781.

A pedestrian was struck and killed on eastbound I-70, just west of Ohio 54 Friday morning.

State troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the vehicle that struck the victim fled the scene.

The male victim’s name has not been released, however his vehicle was found off the highway near the crash scene, authorities said.

The highway reopened around 10:30 a.m.

The incident remains under investigation.
