Endangered Missing Adult Alert canceled; West Chester man located safely

WEST CHESTER — UPDATE @ 2:30 a.m.: An Endangered Missing Adult Alert that was issued for West Chester resident Stephen Persing, 23, early Wednesday has been canceled.

Persing, who walked away from his address on Red Bluff Lane yesterday, was located safely, according to an update from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

The West Chester Police Department issued the alert just after 1 this morning and stated they are concerned for Mr. Persing’s safety, according to a release by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Mr. Persing is 5-foot-8, 135 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. He has been diagnosed with mental impairment.

He was last seen wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, navy blue shorts and white sneakers.
