Alert canceled after missing Toledo man returns home

The missing endangered man has returned home on his own, according to a press release.

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert was issued for Frost about 7:30 p.m. Friday by the Toledo Police Department after he failed to return home.

FIRST REPORT:

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for a 72-year-old northern Ohio man who was last seen leaving his residence about 7:30 p.m. Friday and has failed to return.

Howard Frost suffers from dementia and diabetes, according to the Toledo Police Department. He was wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans.

When last seen, he was on Airport Highway in Toledo, according to police.

Frost is 5 feet 6, about 185 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes.

The vehicle involved is a green 2013 Ford F-150 bearing Ohio tag GVV1418.

Police released a photo of a vehicle like the one Frost was in. The vehicle shown in this report is not actual vehicle.
