DETAILED FORECAST:

THIS EVENING: Showers and a few thunderstorms will move into the area this evening, according to News Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. One or two storms may produce hail along with locally heavy rain. A severe thunderstorm warning is possible. Wet and stormy weather will end overnight. Temperatures will be in the 60s and falling tonight. Overnight lows around 50 degrees.

FRIDAY: It will be mostly cloudy with a few passing showers possible in the morning. A better chance for showers and a few storms will return into Friday evening. An isolated strong to severe storm is possible with hail the primary threat. Also, heavy rain could lead to some minor flooding. Highs on Friday will reach the middle 60s. Overnight lows hold in the middle 50s.

SATURDAY: A warm day expected for Saturday, but it will come with more rain and storms. Severe weather threat is low, but heavy rain may lead to flooding in some spots. Rainfall totals between Friday through Saturday may range between 1 to 2 inches with a few locally higher amounts. Temperatures soar into the lower 70s ahead of our cold front. Gusty winds will develop.

SUNDAY: Slight chance of a few lingering showers early then clouds decrease for some sunshine. Gusty winds linger 30-40mph. Highs in the middle 50s.

MONDAY: It will be mostly sunny and nice. Highs in the middle 50s. Still breezy at times.

TUESDAY: There will be increasing clouds with the chance for showers. Temperature highs will be in the middle 50s.
