Frost Advisory issued for the Miami Valley; Rain chances return later this week

A Frost Advisory has been issued for the entire Miami Valley from midnight until 10 a.m. Wednesday.

DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Clear and chilly through the evening with temperatures falling into the 40s. Winds will subside through the night.

That along with clear skies overhead, temperatures will drop into the middle 30s by daybreak. Frost is expected in spots by Wednesday morning.

This will be the coldest night Dayton has seen since May. You may want to cover or bring in plants and pumpkins.

WEDNESDAY: Some patchy frost early as temperatures rise from the 30s. A mix of sun and clouds expected Wednesday afternoon. More clouds build in late in the day. Seasonably cool with high temperatures in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY: Clouds increase quickly for Thursday with scattered showers arriving in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 60. Winds pick back up.

FRIDAY: Rain likely throughout the day. Cool and breezy with high temperatures reaching the upper 50s.

SATURDAY: Clouds increase quickly for Thursday with scattered showers arriving in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 60. Winds pick back up.

SUNDAY: Sun and a few clouds around for Sunday. It will be a typical fall day with highs around 60 degrees.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and cool with high temperatures in the middle 50s.
