Dorothy Lane Market to open location in Mason

MASON — Dorothy Lane Market is expanding into the Greater Cincinnati region with the announcement that new location will be coming to Mason.

The new store will be featured as part of a $150 million mixed-use planned community in Mason. The new 70-acre mixed-use development will feature 80,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Tom Humes, President of Traditions Building & Development Group and project co-developer, said Dorothy Lane Market will serve as an anchor for the development.

Currently, Dorothy Lane Market has three locations in the Dayton area: in Oakwood, Washington Township and Springboro. Owner Norman Mayne said they are excited about the expansion into Mason.

“For over 70 years, we’ve been serving customers in Dayton, but also many who come to us from the Greater Cincinnati area. We’ve been searching for years for the right place for a store there. We feel fortunate to have found this excellent location in Mason,” Mayne said in a release.

The development, located on the corner of Mason-Montgomery and Western Row roads, will feature five lakes, a waterfront boardwalk and walking paths. The development will also feature a boutique hotel and residential lifestyle community that will include up to 120 residences.

The project will be developed by Traditions Building & Development Group and Western Row Land Developers.

The Mason location marks the grocer’s first location in Greater Cincinnati.
