DeWine visits Young’s Jersey Dairy grand opening

YELLOW SPRINGS — Gov. Mike DeWine helped celebrate the grand opening of the new store at Young’s Jersey Dairy Friday evening.

The new building replaced the original building, which was build in 1968.

While at the event, DeWine discussed the importance of getting Ohioans vaccinated while also working on getting booster doses to those who need them.

“We can do two things at once here in Ohio,” DeWine said.

DeWine discussed the new Vax-2-School program. He said the scholarship money could help students go to college or trade school to help students advance on their educational path.

While at the grand opening, DeWine said Young’s Jersey Dairy was one of the places he and his wife, Fran, used to come on dates.
