TROY — Detectives with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at a Troy home that led to the recovery of drugs, currency and a weapon.
The search warrant was the result of a several month long narcotics investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
On January 10th, deputies and detectives executed the search warrant on South Mulberry Street. Detectives recovered approximately three ounces of cocaine packaged for sale, marijuana, U.S. currency, scales, and a loaded .45 caliber pistol, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office said Nevada D. Butcher, age 42, was taken into custody without incident and charged with possession of drugs, trafficking drugs/preparation for sale and possessing a firearm while under a weapons disability.
Butcher was incarcerated in the Miami County jail.
