TROTWOOD — The Combined Agency OVI Task Force of Montgomery County will conduct a moving OVI checkpoint in the Trotwood area this week.
The exact location will be announced Friday, in advance of the checkpoint and in accordance with state law.
The goals of the sobriety checkpoint are to provide public awareness to the consequences of driving under the influence, reduce the number of impaired drivers on the roadways, reduce the number of alcohol-related traffic crashes, and make the road-ways a safer place to travel, stated a press release from the task force.
