HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 11:29 p.m.: The shooting that occurred on Palisades Drive was accidental, Montgomery County sheriff’s investigators have determined, and the wounded man’s injury is not life threatening.
Deputies dispatched on the report found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his left thigh. Investigators did not state what led them to determine the shooting was accidental, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office
UPDATE @ 7:01 p.m.: A man who suffered a leg wound in the shooting on Palisades Drive has been taken to a hospital and deputies are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, has been taken to Grandview Medical Center where he is reported to be stable, Harrison Twp. fire personnel tell us.

Sheriff's deputies and Dayton police are continuing their investigation.
Deputies are on the scene of a shooting reported in the 1800 block of Palisades Drive in Harrison Twp.
The incident was dispatched just after 6 p.m.
