WASHINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA — Funeral services for Nicholas Cumer, 25, one of the nine people killed in a shooting in Dayton’s Oregon District, will begin Thursday in Pennsylvania.
Visitation is from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home in Washington, Pa. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. All other services are private.
Cumer was a graduate student in the Miami Valley for an internship at Maple Tree Cancer Alliance.
He was in Saint Francis University’s Master of Cancer Care program.
