Dayton Shooting: Red Cross establishes call center

DAYTON — The American Red Cross has established a call center for those affected by the tragic shooting in Dayton’s Oregon District.

The Red Cross has health professionals, spiritual care volunteers, caseworkers and mental health professionals to help care for loved ones struggling to come to terms with the mass shooting. Caseworkers also can provide referrals for additional community support.

The number is 937-222-6711, which will be operational weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
