Brianna Marie Johnson is the person the victim identified to a 9-1-1 operator as the assailant who shot him in his hip and fled in his car.

She was booked into the Montgomery County Jail about 8:41 p.m. on a felonious assault warrant and a new charge of misdemeanor domestic violence. The victim identified himself to the operator as David Johnson, 55.

Police and medics responded to the 4000 block on the shooting just before 5 p.m. after the victim told dispatchers he had been shot, per initial reports.

“Send an ambulance. She just shot me!” the man who identified himself as David Johnson told the Montgomery County emergency operator-dispatcher.

Johnson called the shooter by name, said she used a .25-caliber pistol to shoot him in his hip and took off in a silver Mercury Sable.

He was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. His condition was not immediately released, though his injury is believed to be non-life threatening.

Officers are working to determine what led to the shooting.
