The restaurant at 410 S. Main St., just north of the U.S. 35 overpass, is scheduled to reopen in about three to four weeks after installation of a double drive-through and multiple enhancements to the interior, Debbie Wright, the franchise owner/operator of the downtown Dayton McDonald’s, said via a spokeswoman for the fast-food chain.

“Customers can look forward to a new, sleek, modern exterior and interior,” the spokeswoman said. “Outside, double drive-throughs will be featured, wrapping behind the building, and (will) be equipped with digital-menu ordering boards. Inside will be completely modernized with a clean, fresh aesthetic, digital touch-screen kiosks for ordering, and updated menu boards at the counters.”
