State troopers initiated a pursuit on Interstate 75 in Troy around 1: 30 p.m. after observing a car that was traveling above the speed limit and was following another vehicle too closely, initial reports indicate.
The pursuit continued into parts of Troy before it ended in the Kings Chapel neighborhood, investigators said.
Two people were located and taken into custody near the Troy Fire Department Station 3, on South Stanfield Road, south of state Route 41.
Investigators said speeds in the pursuit reached 100 mph and they found what is suspected to be marijuana inside the vehicle.
