Water crews called to repair water main break on Brandt Pike in Dayton

DAYTON — A water main break occurred in the 2000 block of Brandt Pike in Dayton Wednesday evening.

A customer reportedly found the water main break and called to report it to the Montgomery County Water Service.

County crews arrived in the area and worked to contain the break and determine the cause for over three hours.

Repairs were not being done in the area at the time of the break, according to the county.

The roadway is back open and the scene is clear, according to Montgomery County Water Services.
