Arrest made in Trotwood shooting, victim in critical condition

TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 3:03 p.m. (March 23):

A 33-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the face and torso Friday morning during an argument with his neighbor, who was arrested.

The suspect, Stefan Wright, 33, of Trotwood is booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felonious assault, however is not formally charged.

According to police, the victim was reportedly in an argument with his girlfriend that involved Wright.

Wright then demanded the victim come outside, but the suspect shot three rounds through the door of the house on Knollwood, striking the victim.

UPDATE @ 3:45 a.m: One person is in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital after being shot in the mouth in Trotwood early Friday morning, according to officials.

The incident occurred in the 4700 block of Knollcroft Road just after midnight, per initial reports.

The suspect vehicle, believed to be a black Lincoln SUV, was towed away shortly after the shooting occurred and one person was arrested while officials were on scene.

No word on if the person arrested is the suspected shooter or just being taken in for questioning.

Initial reports indicate the shooting occurred in the 4700 block of Knollcroft Road just after midnight.
