Crews extinguish overnight chimney fire

BEAVERCREEK — Crews have extinguished a chimney fire that happened overnight on the 100 block of Babington Court in Beavercreek.

Emergancy crews arrived on the scene around 11:40 P.M. Saturday night and reported seeing light smoke coming from the chimney.

According to scanner traffic, all residents got out of the house safely.

Crews reported that the fire had made its way into the attic.

Further details on damage to the house are not immediately known.
