Crews extinguish duplex fire in Beavercreek

BEAVERCREEK — Crews have extinguished a fire that broke out in a Beavercreek duplex on the 2300 block of Bluewing Drive overnight.

District Fire Chief Scott Torsten tells us that crews were called out to a structure fire around 1:00 a.m.

Police on scene evacuated the building and reported no one was hurt.

Torsten tells us Beavercreek had called for mutual aid from Kettering and Riverside fire departments due to the size of the duplex.
