Reports: Crews extinguish fire that broke out at Casstown home

CASSTOWN, Miami County — Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in a house in Casstown Tuesday afternoon, according to initial reports.

The fire was reported around 1 p.m. on state Route 55 just south of state Route 589. Images sent by witnesses to News Center 7 showed heavy flames were coming from the back of the house when crews arrived on the scene.

It was not clear if any injuries were reported.
