DAYTON — Remains found in a vacant house during the weekend have been identified as Edward Brunton, 53, the Montgomery County Coroner's Office said Monday night.
The cause of death for Brunton, who apparently died in late 2009, is listed a suicide, according to the coroner's office.
According to a Dayton police report, Brunton bought the house, located in the area of East Fifth and South Irwin streets, at about the time of his demise.
Neighbors said the home has been vacant several years.
