YELLOW SPRINGS — A Yellow Springs family is fighting to get their 23-year-old son, Morgan Beard, an Ohio University graduate, back from Tunisia where he has been working at an independent, online newspaper since January as part of an internship.

"The whole process has been very vague. When the flights started being cancelled, he went to the embassy personally and they wouldn't let him in so they spoke with him through a window and said their recommendation was to call the airline and they basically left it in his hands", said Christine Monroe-Beard, Morgan's step-mother.

The Beard family is working with Ohio University and Senator Sherrod Brown's office in effort to get Morgan home.
