Coronavirus: Online grocery shoppers face major delays

KETTERING — Many grocery shoppers are turning to online shopping to limit exposure to the virus.

According to a spokesperson at Krogers, both in-store and online shopping has increased since the outbreak.

News Center 7’s Ronnell Hunt tried ordering from three different Krogers in the area on their app. He experienced app freezing when he tried to place the order.

After not being able to order through the app, Hunt tried in-person shopping and found many disgruntled shoppers who could not find their desired product.

One tip Hunt learned during this process was that the best time to place an online order was at midnight, when the app restocked and less users were online.
