DAYTON — The Dayton Community Blood Center continues its “Christmas in July Blood Drive.”
The event will be held at the Community Blood Center on South Main Street from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today, July 5.
According to the CBC’s website, “(We) faced a severe blood shortage after the Memorial Day and there is concern that without increased collections a similar shortage could follow the July 4th weekend.”

All who register to donate blood can choose a surprise gift from the CBC Christmas tree.
Gift possibilities include a $10 gift card, a $50 gift card to Kroger, or a YETI Rambler Tumbler.
All who register to donate will receive a “Blood Donors are the GOAT - Greatest of All Time” t-shirt.
Walk-ins are accepted and appointments are encouraged.
