DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Clear skies are expected but it will be cold, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Temperatures will fall through the 20s to a low around 20 degrees by sunrise.

Saturday: A cold morning around 20 degrees will be followed by a milder afternoon. Expect sunshine through the day, which will become breezy, with highs in the upper 40s.

Sunday: Lots of sunshine early will give way to clouds throughout the day as the next storm system approaches. It will be a warmer and breezy day with highs around 50 degrees. A few showers will arrive by Monday morning.

Monday: Scattered rain showers are likely with a few embedded downpours. It still will be above normal and breezy, with highs in the upper 40s.

Tuesday: Scattered showers will continue, mainly in the morning. Clouds will linger through the day, which will still be a bit breezy. Temperatures will reach the upper 40s for a high. Colder air will arrive at night with more rain showers. A few snowflakes may mix in briefly towards Wednesday morning.

Wednesday: Rain showers are likely to start the day, but as colder air arrives toward evening, rain showers will switch to light snow showers. Highs for the day will rise to the lower 40s, then fall through the evening.
