— QUICK-LOOK FORECAST
Overnight: It will be frigid one with temperatures in the mid-20s under partly cloudy skies and some patchy frost on the windshields, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.
Saturday: It will be a cold morning, and the afternoon won’t be as biting but still chilly for this time of year with temperatures in the mid-40s. It will be breezy at times, thus making it feel colder.
Sunday: This will be one of the last “warmer” days as highs reach back into the middle 50s, which is normal. More clouds arrive through the day, but it will remain dry.
Monday: Another system will bring with it more snow as highs reach the low 40s during the morning but fall through the day. It looks like some rain showers for the morning commute, then a transition to snow showers. Timing now puts the chance for snow in the middle to late afternoon through the evening hours. Light accumulation looks possible as temperatures fall quickly at night into the 20s.
Tuesday: It will be a cold morning around 20 degrees with some spots in the teens. Scattered clouds with flurries are possible. Slick spots or ice on the roadways could make for a messy morning commute. It will be breezy and chilly in the upper 20s only for the afternoon. Record for the lowest high temperature that day is 30 degrees, so that record could be broken.
