City of Clayton hosting ‘Costumes and Carving’ event today

CLAYTON — The City of Clayton is hosting its annual Costumes and Carving event today, October 24.

The free festival includes all things Halloween, including pumpkin carving, goodie bags, and costumes, according to a release from the city.

There will be a pumpkin carving contest for all ages, with pumpkins and tools provided, as well as a costume contest according to a post on the City of Clayton’s Facebook page.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. at Meadowbrook at Clayton and ends at 3 p.m. The costume and carving contests start at 2:30 p.m.
