Chipotle plans to test drive-thru windows in Ohio

"Chipotle is life” is the phrase made popular by loyal fanatics of the successful Mexican grill fast-food chain. Whether or not there is actual truth to those words, sometimes life doesn’t have time to wait in an out-the-door line. 

That’s why this fall, Chipotle is making plans to test-out what customers have long been asking for— the chain’s first ever drive-thru.

Tuesday, Chipotle executives announced they will be running a trial of a drive-thru option at an undisclosed location in Ohio.

If all goes well, more Chipotle drive-thrus could be in the near future.

So while the exact location of the first-ever Chipotle drive-thru is not yet known, there’s a shadow of a chance that burrito bowl lovers in Dayton might be among the first to test it out.
