DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Clouds thicken with showers moving in, primarily along and south of Interstate 70 by morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. It won't be as cold, thanks to the clouds, with temperatures settling in the middle 30s.

Friday: Skies will be cloudy in the morning with light scattered showers along and south of I-70 with morning temperatures in the mid-30s. Clouds will dissipate to reveal more sunshine for the afternoon. Highs will be seasonable in the mid-40s. Clear skies, light winds and cooler weather returns for the night. Temperatures will fall to the mid-20s with some areas of frost.

Saturday: It will be a chilly morning with temperatures in the low 20s with some frost. Skies will be sunny. Highs will be in the low 40s, which is normal for this time of the year.

Sunday: It will be a warmer end to the weekend. It will be breezy and cloudy, but warmer with highs in the lower 50s. Scattered rain showers will return at night, lasting through the early part of the workweek.

Monday: Rain showers will continue through the day. It will be mild and breezy with temperatures in the middle 50s.

Tuesday: Skies will continue to be cloudy with passing showers, ending with snowflakes. Little to no accumulation is expected. Winds will be gusty and cold. Highs will start out in the lower 40s and temperatures will fall through the day. Wind chills will make it feel even colder.
