Champaign County pursuit ends with crash in Clark County; Crews investigating

CLARK COUNTY — A pursuit started by Champaign County ended with a crash in Clark County Friday afternoon.

Champaign County dispatch said a pursuit started in their county and ended with a crash in Clark County around 5 p.m.

There were unable to provide exact locations as they said it was an open investigation.

Clark County dispatchers said the crash happened on I-70 between South Vienna and South Clark County line.

Video from an iWitness7 viewer shows a car crashed into a field with cruisers near it.

We are working to learn what led to the pursuit and if anyone has been taken into custody.
