Police: Parents of child found wandering in Centerville located

CENTERVILLE — UPDATE @ 11:45 a.m.: 

Centerville police have located the parents of a girl found wandering alone on North Main Street Thursday morning.

“We are currently investigating what led up to the child being found alone,” John Davis, community Relations Officer said in a media release.

Centerville Police are searching for the parents of a girl approximately four years old, who was wandering on North Main Street near Bradstreet Road this morning.

Police believe the girl’s name is Adeline or a similar sounding name, according to a release.

The girl is wearing black leggings, a black quarter-zip pullover, black socks and no shoes.

No other information about the child was immediately available.
