Centerville boy found wandering alone for second time in a week

CENTERVILLE — For the second time in a week the same 10-year-old boy was found wandering alone around the city of Centerville and the boy’s father could be facing additional charges for the latest incident, according to Centerville Police.

Officers were contacted around 6 a.m. Thursday after someone spotted the boy alone near Stingley Elementary School off Linden Drive, more than a mile away from his Revere Village Court residence.

Police said the boy is deaf and known to have autism.

Police said the boy’s father, Anthony Combs, 45, was taken into custody, however, he was no longer at the Kettering City Jail Friday morning.

Combs and his wife, Katrina Combs, 42, were charged July 14 after the same boy was found wandering in the area of Kroger on South Main Street.
