SUV flips onto its side in 2-vehicle crash in Oakwood

OAKWOOD — An SUV flipped onto its side after its driver swerved to try to avoid hitting a car that turned in front of him.

The crash happened at 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Far Hills and Peach Orchard avenues in Oakwood.

The driver of the Infinity QX4 that flipped was headed south on Far Hills Avenue when the other car turned in front of him at Peach Orchard Avenue.

The driver swerved, but clipped the turning car and flipped.

No one was hurt, and the other car’s driver will be cited, according to the Oakwood Public Safety Department.
