Camden woman killed in weekend Preble County crash

PREBLE COUNTY — A Camden woman was killed and two other people in the car were hurt after a crash on Northern Road Saturday afternoon, deputies said.

The crash happened on Northern Road near Asher Road in Somers Twp. around 4:30 p.m.

According to deputies, the driver of the minivan was going west on Northern Road when they failed to drive around a curve. The van drove off the road and hit a tree.

The front passenger, Erica Browne, 24, of Camden, was killed. Two others, including the driver, were taken to a hospital in Oxford with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
