AKRON — The Bradford Lady Railroaders will be adding the school’s first ever state championship trophy to the school’s trophy case. The girls softball team claimed the Division IV state championship Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Railroaders defeated Cuyahoga Heights 8-0 during the championship game at Firestone Stadium in Akron.

Bradford’s Skipp Miller pitched seven shut-out innings, allowing just one hit and one walk. Miller struck out 10.
At the plate, the Lady Railroaders scored eight runs on 10 hits.
The Lady Railroaders finished their season with a record of 30-2.
