Brown’s twin sister, Dawn Dunn, organized the balloon launch in Brown’s memory at the store at 440 N. James H. McGee Blvd. in Dayton on what would have been her sister’s 46th birthday.

Brown was gunned down on July 21, 2019.

Her friends and family also had a vigil and balloon launch July 22, the day after Brown was killed after she stepped outside the store.

She had a protection order against Dennis Haggin, 62, the man police said shot her before fatally shooting himself.
