Suspect in break-in at Ohio Loan Co. later found naked on porch in Dayton

An attempted break-in occurred at the Ohio Loan Co. located at 1171 W. Third St. early Sunday morning.

Crews were responding to a burglary alarm when they noticed the front window to the loan building had been shattered, according to a Dayton Police report. A portion of the broken window had blood on it, but it appeared no entry was made due to a cage behind the glass window.

Crews later were dispatched to the 200 block of South Kilmer Avenue on a suspicious person.

There, officers made contact with a man who was lying naked on a front porch. The man had a large amount of blood on himself due to a laceration on his right hand, the report stated.

He was unsure of where he was, how he got there or how he suffered the injury.

Due to the location of the man and the injury, he was put in as a suspect of the attempted break-in.
