Arrest warrant issued for murder after man found dead in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN — A 52-year-old man is wanted in connection to a murder that took place in Middletown over the weekend.

An arrest warrant for murder was issued Wednesday for Tomas Prieto Morales after 29-year old Angel Vasquez-Munguia of Indianapolis was found dead, according to a release from the Middletown Police Department.

The warrant was issued following an investigation by Middletown Police who responded to a shooting in the 4100 block of Bonita Drive at 9:49 p.m. on Saturday April 3rd.

When crews arrived they found Vasquez-Munguia dead in a driveway.

Police are now searching for Morales.

Police say they were initially looking for a white 2007 Chevrolet Express Cargo Van or a white Chevrolet box truck that Morales was possibly driving, but both vehicles have been located.
